I BELIEVE
I Believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God. That He literally, willingly, and physically died, and that God, on the third day, raised Him from the dead as He had promised. I believe that His resurrection clearly declares His divine power over death and hell, and that man, in his lost condition, if he believes on the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.
For that reason, I personally believe in my heart and have confessed with my mouth Him as Lord, and am committed to joyful worship of Him as the Son of God, who triumphantly rose from the dead and now has dominion over Satan and Hell.
I Believe in the resurrection of the just and that when Jesus Christ returns, we shall be given an immortal, glorified body like His. I believe our resurrected body will never know death, decay, or disease, and that we for all eternity shall praise, worship, glorify, and serve Him.
For that reason, I personally approach life day by day with the anticipation of His coming. I live without fear of death and pray for the salvation of those who live without this eternal hope of resurrection life.
I Believe in the resurrection of the unjust. The day will come when every man and woman of every age will stand before the throne of God and give an account for [his or her] life. I believe that through Christ's death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, He provided a way of escape for all those who would believe on His name. So that rather than experiencing eternal judgment and shame, they would enjoy eternal blessing and life.
For that reason, I choose to live my life by a standard of faith in Him, and holy sobriety, realizing that God cares about the words I speak, the motives I have, and the deeds I do, and that all of those factors, as well as my thoughts, have eternal value and consequence.
Because I believe this, I can walk confidently in the power of a resurrected Lord and be praiseful for the hope He's given me that all of His divine resources are at my disposal to live life day by day in victory.
