Well, time goes by so fast, but its been two months since we began this new website, and it's time for your first update. I want to take a quick opportunity to tell you about a couple new features we've implemented, and also let you know that the Left Hand Page has been updated.
Recently, we implemented a new feature to the site. We now offer streaming audio of the daily program on the day it airs. This means that if you miss todays message, you can log on to the website and listen to it streaming at any time during the day it aired, and not just at the time its actually airing as has been the case in the past. We've changed where we air a bit in the last month or so, and we implented this feature so people who listened to the program in areas where we went off the air would still be able to hear us, but it's also a convenient thing for anyone who misses us for one reason or another and wants to catch my dad's sermon at another time.
Also, I wanted to again let everyone know about the MP3's we now have available for download. In the storefront section, we now have all 1100 or so sermons available for download directly to you in MP3 form. Many people have been availing themselves of this already, and so I wanted to again mention it for those who might not be aware.
We've also updated the Left Hand Page, which are a series of mini-sermons my dad wrote and placed in the church bulletin throught his tenure. We'll be updating these more and more often as more people come to visit the site with regularity.
One last thing for our Portland listeners... as of about a month and a half ago, we are back on KPDQ 93.9 after about a 4 year hiatus. I'll be sharing the miraculous story surrounding this in my next update in the "The Latest from Heart of the Word" section, coming soon, but i did want to take a moment to mention it here because its so significant. It brings us MUCH better coverage in the Portland area, which, in keeping with the theme of the latest Left Hand Page, will hopefully let us be a more efficient blessing to you.
With the added coverage come added costs, however, and so if you are a faithful listener to this ministry I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting us to help us stay on KPDQ.
Thank you again for being part of our ministry... you're all as much of a blessing to us as I hope we are to you. We love you all, and covet your prayers.
In His Strong Name,
Ron Mehl, Jr.
